As we close the chapter on 2023, it's a great time to look back and reflect on the incredible journey we've had and take a look at where we’re heading in the next year. 

This year has been a rollercoaster of innovation, challenges, and triumphant moments. Let's dive into some of our most memorable moments and celebrate the strides we've made together in this dynamic industry.

Key milestones we achieved in 2023

There is a lot we achieved in the passing year. Anyhow, for the sake of nostalgia, let us revisit the biggest milestones of this year:

Flexible booking options across channels

At the beginning of 2023, we launched the brand new Booking Website. This was the first step on our journey to give you control and flexibility in presenting your business online and sharing your services and events with the world. It provides an intuitive way to create a presentable business website with an embedded booking form and promotional options all in one place managed from your Reservio account. 

As the year progressed, we added other options to customize the Booking Website to click with your business and brand. Add your cover image, select brand colours, or add pictures to services and staff members. Present your business in all its glory.

We did not stop there. A pretty website shareable with the customers is a nice thing but business in the service industry is personal and all about the client. So we decided to add another layer of marketing flexibility - an improved booking link allowing you to share specific services, events, or a staff member’s profile.

Why is this all so good you ask? All these pieces together provide you with tools to manage your online presence easily - create a branded, functional website, track how your customers interact with it, and promote parts of your business with better focus (be it an appointment freed up at the last minute or particular employee’s availability).

Business app enhancements

Who doesn’t want to be able to manage their business from their phone? Not being tied to a chair and a computer? Exactly. For that reason, we have invested time and resources into our Reservio Business app and added capabilities that could only be found in our web application before. Let us refresh your memory. 

We unified the Marketing and Billing sections, so you can use these functionalities even when you‘re mobile-first. Also, we added the screens signifying features that are part of a higher plan - which allows you to upgrade from the Reservio Business app, not only from the desktop.

Say ”hi” to Reo, our Customer Care team’s newest addition

2023 has been the year of AI. It is now everywhere and is actively changing the way all of us conduct business. Naturally, we wanted to be part of this game. We welcomed Reo, a smart AI chatbot into our team, taught him everything we know, and sent him to answer your questions quicker and without waiting.

But we cannot expect Reo to know everything, can we? Of course not. Reo learns with every ticket he receives and every help guide we write but learning is a continuous process. If Reo doesn‘t know the answer, there is always one of our real-life Customer Care specialists on the other side who will investigate and do all they can to help you. 

2024: The Year of Transformation at Reservio

Next year will be big for Reservio and we sincerely hope you will be here with us to witness and celebrate it. We have so many great new projects lined up and without spoiling the surprise, you can expect transformational changes next year. We’re planning to redefine the way you use your booking software from the way you utilize your calendar and manage your online presence, to how you manage your business as a whole - your services, events, products, and payments. A lot to look forward to!
