Clients ask about gift vouchers all year round, and especially before Christmas. Until now the answer meant making one yourself in Canva, or saying no and watching that sale walk away. Your booking page can now sell them for you.
Coming soon to your country
Gift vouchers are now live for businesses in the Czech Republic that are not VAT registered, on the Standard and Pro plans. We are bringing them to more countries and to VAT-registered businesses soon.

What gift vouchers do
Turn voucher selling on and your booking website gets a new option. A client picks an amount, pays online and the voucher code arrives in their inbox. They pass the code to whoever the gift is for.
When that person comes in, they give you the code at the desk. You enter it when you ring up the visit and the amount is taken off the voucher. Whatever is left stays on it for next time.

Paying for a gift voucher online
For now, the voucher has to cover the whole order. If a service costs more than what is left on it, settle the difference with the client directly.
Neither of them needs a Reservio account. Not the person buying, not the person redeeming. The code stands on its own.
💰 Money before the visit because the voucher is paid for the day it is bought
🙋 New faces in your chair since the person holding the code is often not your client yet
🗂️ No more manual vouchers to design, number and track in a spreadsheet

3 ways businesses sell gift vouchers
- Hair and beauty salons: December is when partners and parents come looking for a present and have no idea which treatment to pick. A voucher for an amount solves that. They buy, you have the money, and the recipient chooses the service themselves.
- Barbershops: A regular wants to bring a friend in. Rather than paying at the counter and explaining the gift, they buy a voucher on your page and forward the code. The friend walks in with it and becomes a client of yours.
- Fitness and wellness studios: Someone wants to gift a friend a spa day or a single class, not sign them up for a membership. A voucher for an amount lets the recipient pick what to book. Looking for something built for recurring visits instead? That is what passes are for.
Getting started
- Make sure online payments are active. That is how clients pay for a voucher, so if you have not set them up yet, start there.
- In your Reservio admin, go to Settings → Inventory → Vouchers and turn selling on. It stays off until you switch it on.
- Your booking website now shows the voucher option and clients can buy right away.
Vouchers are sold on your own booking website, not through the Reservio marketplace. Gift vouchers are available on the Standard and Pro plans.
